PENDING ADOPTION!!! Meet Armando ("Mondo") – Your Future Dance Partner and Lap Companion! Armando, affectionately known as "Mondo," is a joyful and sweet little dog with a heartwarming morning ritual of rolling around on the carpet and a daily zest for life! He greets every day with a run to get his energy flowing, preparing himself for all the adventures the day might bring. Though initially shy, Mondo is a loyal and loving companion once he gets to know you. Mondo is known for his love of “dancing” when it's time to go outside or when mealtime arrives! He may seem a bit reserved at first but, beneath that exterior, he’s all teddy bear. With a few tasty treats and some patience, he warms up to become a sweet and trusting friend. Having had a challenging start as a stray, Mondo has spent time in a foster home, learning to handle his emotions and build trust. Now, he’s ready to find his forever home with someone willing to let him set the pace as he adjusts to new surroundings. He’ll appreciate a calm home, ideally with another small dog for companionship and guidance. Once he’s comfortable, Mondo loves to be near his people—rubbing his head against your leg, curling up on the couch, and even enjoying a cozy nap in your lap during TV time. He’s crate-trained but prefers having his crate as a safe option rather than being confined. Exercise keeps him happy, and he's comfortable wearing a harness, making it easy to head out for daily walks together. Ideal Home for Armando ~An adult-only household where he can feel secure. ~Another small, friendly dog for companionship would be ideal. ~Someone with patience, who respects his need to go at his own pace, and who will give him time to blossom.
